Annual
Countryside
Garden Tour
Starting at Railroad Green, Warwick
2010 Chairs - Jane Madis & Linda Babcock
Started in 1994, The Countryside Garden Tour is
a self-guided tour consisting of five to seven special
and unique gardens that are opened
to the public for one day.
Planning for
this major fundraiser starts a year in advance and takes
the time and talent of a dedicated committee. All
members are
asked to participate in this event.
This year's annual “Countryside
Garden Tour and Plant Sale ” takes place on
Saturday, June 5th from 9am – 3pm
(Rain date: Sunday, June 6th). The tour begins at
historic Railroad Green in the center of downtown
Warwick. Participants will receive badges and guide maps
at this starting point and embark on a journey to seven
of the loveliest gardens in the Hudson Valley.
Each garden features a theme. Tickets are
$15 and
can be purchased on
the day of the Tour.

Plant Sale
2010 Chair - Shelly Sherfey
First
held in 1998, the plant Sale has grown and now
shares the same time and location as the Garden
Tour. Hundreds of donations from members' gardens
as well as new annuals, perennials and herbs are
available for purchase at discounted prices.
Shopping the tables of wonderful plants while in
town for the tour adds to the already pleasant day. All
members are asked to donate five plants from
their garden for this event.
