| Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk |

The Warwick Valley Gardeners' "Seeds of Hope" team raised over $3800.00 at The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk held on October 16th at Woodbury Commons.

| The Pine Island Butterfly Garden |
 |
The Warwick Valley Gardeners invited the public to attend the dedication of the new Butterfly Garden/ Habitat at the Pine Island Park on Kay Rd. in Pine Island, NY. on Monday, June 20 at 10:30 am. Plants from the Pine Island School’s Butterfly Garden have been moved to this garden as well as signs and other sentimental garden article. The Pine Island School will be closing at the end of the school year. Girl Scouts and 4 H members helped dig the plants up so they could be moved.
The children and teachers from the Kid’s Club House created 25 stepping stones for the pathways.
This garden not only provides beauty, but will also be an educational area. |
